Teradyne, a global test and automation specialist company, seeks a Senior Hardware Engineer for their Continuous Hardware Engineering Group in Costa Rica. The role involves analyzing, understanding, and resolving engineering-related design and obsolescence issues in released Semiconductor Test Systems and Instruments, including power, communication, DC, AC, and digital instruments subsystems. Responsibilities include redesigning instruments, hardware assessments, schematic capture, PCB planning, design validation, circuit design, debugging hardware to component level, troubleshooting with system software tools, driving cost reduction and product enhancement initiatives, yield improvements, and cross-functional team collaboration. Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering, 5 years of experience in analog/digital circuit design, lab equipment use, troubleshooting, and programming in C, C++, or Visual Basic. Preferred skills include circuit simulation tools, scripting knowledge, and technical lead experience. This is a hybrid work model position based in Costa Rica with no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance.
